The scientific program of IPAC’16 was proposed by a Scientific Program Committee (SPC), in collaboration with the International Organizing Committee (OC) with significant input from the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB).
The conference will take place from Sunday, May 8, to Friday, May 13, 2016.
Sessions will begin Monday to Friday at 09:00 and finish at 18:00, with the exception of Friday, May 13 when the conference will finish at around 13:00.
The scientific program will be composed of 30-minute invited oral presentations, 20-minute contributed oral presentations (decided by the SPC on the basis of abstracts submitted in response to the call for papers), and poster sessions from 16:00 to 18:00 each afternoon from Monday 9, to Thursday, May 12.
On Sunday, May 8, a student poster session will take place during delegate registration from 14:00 up to the welcome reception. Since poster sessions are a focal point of the conference, and with the objective of making them as attractive, successful and rewarding as possible, no oral presentations are scheduled in parallel with the poster sessions to allow delegates to follow the full conference program.
Three plenary sessions will take place on Monday morning, Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, and a maximum of two oral sessions will take place in parallel for the rest of the time.
Questions concerning the scientific program may be addressed to the SPC Chair, In Soo Ko, POSTECH or Christine Petit-Jean-Genaz, CERN, the IPAC Conferences Coordinator for Europe, responsible for the IPAC’16 Scientific Secretary.
